Theory #1: "Women Have ALL The Power"
"POWERLESS"
Ladies have all the power but begin to lose it by:
- Always being available.
- Please have a life. Don't put it on hold because of him. He isn't going anywhere.
- Immediately responding to texts/calls/emails/Facebook..etc.
- Again, please have a life.
- Always saying "Yes"
- Don't be afraid to say NO. He will ask you again later..promise!
- Allowing him to never CALL you.
- Enough with all the texting, gchatting, etc.
- Letting him get away with things.
- ie. Being late, canceling, not paying on a date..etc.
- Being okay with him not driving you home/paying for cab.
- Men must be gentlemen.
- You reaching out to them.
- It is HIS job to call you. It's the ladies' job to pick up.
- This is ALWAYS a one-way street..unless yall are official.
POWERFUL
Ladies START with, KEEP and GAIN MORE POWER by:
- Waiting at least 10 minutes before responding to his text.
- The longer he waits the better.
- Making him work for a date.
- You can say yes to a date but it shouldn't be for the very next day!
- Let it be on your terms. "Yes, but it's been a little crazy this week. CALL (not text/email) me on Saturday and we'll figure something out.
- Making him wait twice as long as he made you wait when he was late.
- He shows up @6:15 instead of 6pm, then you wait until 6:30pm to be ready.
- Making him CALL you.
- "Funny how people don't use cellphones to make CALLS anymore, huh?" He will then call..TRUST..it worked like a charm for me.
- Lastly, BE A LADY aka Make him EARN IT.
- Dinner shouldn't buy him a kiss, let alone anything more than that.
- *Disclaimer: If you just want to have fun, no judgment here but that's all you'll ever be to him..FUN.

@Utah Girl - Do you want someone who has no life? Neither does he. So even if you don't have a busy lifestyle, still make him wait. Known fact, guys like the chase.

DeleteSo are you just suppose to say no when you really have an opening? Usu for me its been that both parties will say what days are good to meet. In that case we come up with a day that both of us have free.
ReplyDeleteLike I said, you can say yes..just don't make it for the very next day. Ask that he call to figure out the details. Then if he actually calls you, then you've been on his mind and he really wants to see you. :)

DeleteYou make sure to continue to keep your priorities straight! For example, if you have grad school work, focus on getting the job done in school, instead of snuggling on the sofa with him. Show him you are still about your business! Also, give him house chores and make sure he pulls his weight. You are NOT his new maid.
